Thanks. I actually got mine from the Godfather and he's getting a replacement for me. :chew

Here are some pics. It's one of those things you can't help but notice. It's not even smooth...

Batty, you have every right to be upset with that. No item should get through even the simplest of QC with a blotch like that. Not to mention where it is on the piece draws a lot of attention to it.

There's a piece of styrofoam right in that spot to hold the Wookiee braids in place. I noticed the blotch as soon as I removed it.

There's nothing like being excited to get a desired piece only to be let down by something like this.

so should i open mine up to inspect?? i'm still not sure whether or not to keep this piece. i forgot i pre-ordered it from fireside until i got the notice that it was being shipped out. it just arrived on my doorstep, but im not sure i'm still interested in this line yet.

There are a few little pieces of styrofoam tied to him for protection. Getting them back in place will be hard, but if you decide to keep him it would be a good idea to inspect him.

Overall, I love this piece. It really has a sense of movement. And the smoke and flame effect is very well done.. Much better in person than in photos.

If you want I can take some more pics before I box him back up.

It isn't. I think because the black section behind the barrel is angled downward, it appears bent. In person it looks straight. I did have to double check!

:chew no problems Batty I was actually surprised that we only had a few returns on this piece I was loosing sleep over the thoughts of broken Wookiee pelts coming back by the 100s. The same day I got back your Boba we recieved a return on a Superman Forever #1 with a finger print in the paint on the sups logo on his chest. I have to say that one was even more glaringly ugly than your Fett's paint job.

According to Diamond, it is being pushed back from the end of this month to the first week in January along with the Darth Maul bust.
