I got my Xmen Vs Sentinel EX this Tuesday, all 4 sides and top and bottom are push in, lucky that the 4 color box and the statue are OK, all the lights are working, only thing is when I open in and check, it missing the AC power cord, I email sideshow about it, they send me a RMA and return it, and get me a replacement, but all I need is the AC power cord.:monkey3

I think it's a step in the right direction and agree that ultimately it's up to the driver to not dropkick or punt the box from truck to doorway. The boxes are noticably marked with instructions about damages. For me personally, I'd be loathe to mishandle something knowing some finicky person on the receiving end is going to inspect it like a crime scene specialist and then refuse it and make more work for me. The last few shipments I've gotten from Sideshow since the inception of the damaged goods instruction have been remarkably free of damage or internal or external injury. Could be happenstance, could be something else. Ironically, I received a shipment from another vendor of something totally unrelated (a protective case for an iPod) and this tiny padded velcro sleeve was housed in a box with more protective bubble and cushion wrap than some of the PFs I've gotten. Made me think the PF statues are in there as a shock absorber to keep the shipping box from imploding on impact.

A lot of you seem to think its the drivers, I am going to say its not. All my friends worked at sort facilities and I know for a fact that they toss boxes when in a hurry , also they told me a lot fall off the belts since a lot of areas have no guard rails. I can bet that the carriers get a lot of shipping costs billed back to them but I know that even the company I work for hardly ever goes after them since it seems to be a hastle. Its kinda like a rebate, most people just don't take the time to get the shipping cost, item value back.
