I am single because the concept of a girlfriend and a partner before marriage is forbidden in my religion. I am hoping to find someone and get married within the next two years and start my family. But as for now, I am only 23 and enjoying my single life. :D

I'm not for or against marriage. I've seen some great ones and a lot of disasterous ones. I've been asked 3 times but thankfully declined.....would never have lasted. As for now - I would be happy just being in a secure and stable relationship. Don't need a ceremony for that and don't feel I need to prove anything to anyone.......sometimes I like the idea of a commitment ceremony - not a legal one - but just me and whomever going away on a romantic vacation and saying you're the one for me (for now and hopefully for a long time). I like the idea of exchanging rings or something....but considering the fact I don't want kids (if I did, then I would definitely want marriage) just a pledge of our affection to eachother would be romantic to me....I can be a sap. :lol

1. I think both of us are just too lazy too get it done.

2. I mean we plan to do it, were just in no hurry.

3. I don't see it as a sin. (hope i don't pay for it in the afterlife :) )

4. I don't think it'll make us love one another more.

No seriously ... if you found someone you loved and both agreed to it thats awesome but I just wouldn't see a point in it if you were both really happy the way you were.
Besides the cost of getting it all prepped could buy loads more collectibles ! :lol

personally I won't ever get "married" don't see the point in a piece of paper to prove anything. but I also don't want kids. I can see how marriage would be good if you had/wanted some. but on another note, it's quite an institution and I think alot of people get locked into one before they really know what it is. or better yet who they are. it comes down to how you are; for some it works out great and others not so well. I've been living with the same woman now for almost three years and could'nt be happier. but hey if you need the paper to make it "real" then get it. if not, don't.

When you're old  you stop putting up with crap, so you don't have to worry about relationships at all. Any.
