This is a small river (more like a stream or creek) in the park across from my office. Normally it is about 30 to 40 feet wide, and the water is only between 2 to 10 foot deep, and is usually calm and barely moving. One nearby city got 18" of rain over night!

Yowser. Send some of it toward SoCal (more specifically Ventura County). We had a red flag day recently. Thankfully the marine layer has been coming in the last few days.

Lonnie, where were you when Les was lookin for all that?

We didn't have as much then! Although, it has been a rather rainy spring and start of summer. At least we aren't under water restrictions, which we normally are by this time of year! :rock

YES! Out here in Simi, it's been bloody hotter than you know what. I could use some rain. Or at least some overcast. What part of ventura county you live in hobbit?

Since you're close enough you'll know. I live in the Santa Rosa Valley (between TO, Camarillo, Moorpark and Simi...I'm surrrounded. :lol)

Simi must be so freaking hot the last few weeks. Luckily it's a tad cooler where I am. Still dry though. No more fires please!

I would take the in 1:6. The Ugly on a small bod, Clint on a reg. and the bad on a tall. That would be too cool

Found this online... shows you the flood stage of that "river" in my pictures since last night at midnight, through this afternoon. Started at about 4', crested at 31' in just 8 hours, and is now back down to 15'.
