Please no rain in socal . rain pollutes the ocean even more and I get sick:monkey2 .

Tahoe could use some right about now though.

Just got some here....been waiting for that mess from TX to come up north but it's taken forever. Hubby was down there for a reunion and some golf this past weekend and he was spitting mad because of the moisture.

Hope nobody got swept away in a flash flood Lonnie. Seems at least one does in those situations.

I don't know there could be some killer new surf spots if the oceans rise. :lol

Seriously I dont want it to happen but this is my optomistic outview of global warming.

Yeah, but you're just north of me in the middle of the country... the left and right coasts are suffering droughts aren't they?

Yep, right in the middle. California looks like OK did a year ago. We were fighting grass fires like crazy this time last year. What a crazy weather pattern...I prefer the rain to fire myself though.:D

The flood in Georgetown was due to being downstream of Marble Falls, the city that got 18.97" of rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Last night some areas got another 10" to 14" of rain, but fortunately, those areas were south of us, so we didn't get their runoff. Rain is forecast every day through next Wednesday! :google

California looks like this every year. We have big fires pretty much anually most the time is multipule ones each year.

It has been raining since last night where I live just north of San Antonio. We have gotten 5 inches since last night and it isn't stopping anytime soon.

3" last night. :chew

I am just west of LCummins and we are watching the water taking over the creeks and streams and turning them into rivers.

Yeah, I am so sick of these storms! Every day we get a huge storm and flooding....been going on for weeks.

I have never seen it like this before....

Thanks Danny.

Here is another picture from yesterday; this is a pedestrian walk bridge to cross over what is normally a little drainage creek.

Oh man, your not kidding. Be careful is right. I see all the time on the news about people who drive thru a water logged road only to get swept away.

We got a heavy down pour all day yesterday and as I was driving home I had to stop a few times because of the amount of water rushing across the road. A small tornado formed and poked out of the sky too but it didn't last long.

This amount and duration of rain is something I've never seen this time of year here. It's crazy!

It's kind of like that up here, near Dallas. We have lots of new ponds. I live near Lake Lewisville and there's a part of it that gets dried out every year (I guess it's not actually connected to the lake, it's on the other side of a road) and it's completely filled, there was a ramp sort of thing that people would drive down so they could fish and that's completely covered in water. If we get some more rain then some of the roads will be washed out.

...and it continues to rain almost every day! The forecast has rain all the way through the weekend, and it is POURING down right now... has been for over an hour!

We're gonna need a bigger boat indeed!
