Everything on this one is better than Anakin. This figure is pretty much perfect I think.

Are you gonna be posting another review of this guy? That'd be nice for those of us still waiting :monkey2

A quick question... is it worth me keeping my exclusive original Anakin? I'm thinking of selling him and just having the SDCC Anakin.

What do you think?

i'd keep both to see which one becomes the harder find down the road.

I'd keep the original exclusive... at the very least there were only 1,700 of him available, vs the 6,000 of the SDCC version. In the long run I think the Anakin will be the harder to obtain figure... and Anakin as a Jedi is a pretty important figure.

Well keep in mind there are really only 1,750 little *holo Palpatine's* available. If you think that trumps the entire incarnation of Sith Anakin then Ex. Ani is certainly the "rarer" piece.

As far as the figures themselves, there are less Anakins with Sith eyes than there are with normal eyes.

And I think the droid base is more integral to Anakin's character than a tiny Sidious holo seen only in the possession of Clone Commanders in the actual movie.

That being said, if you take the rarity factor out of the equation, its still a really tough call. Anakin only flashed the Sith eyes in two scenes, and neither was when he balanced on the lava droid. The "Jedi" Anakin is much more versatile and could easily double as Darth Vader Sith Apprentice but the reverse isn't true. But even with THAT said, Sith Eyes could be considered more "iconic" due to the first teaser trailer for the movie and it appears that it has the superior paint apps of the two. A pretty tough choice if you ask me. :D

But, again Vader is still a variant, whereas the Anakin figure is the original. I'm just saying (IMO) its better to keep the original, rarer figure than to get caught up in what is essentially a repainted figure. I plan on keeping both, but thats just how I roll :lol

They are going to have someone else do one for SDCC Vader I think. Since I've done them all so far so not an official one. I can always put something together though.

Not to highjack this thread, but Josh do you have any HI-REZ for Jabba yet?

Josh, thanks for the pic's of Anakin! I just ordered a second one from FP moments ago, just to make sure I had one to open and one to keep in the package, like I've been doing with boxed exclusives and opened regular editions!

No problem guys anytime.

I got mine posed just how I want him. I'm going with this pose. This is the inspiration for mine anwways.
