Nope... I have gone with the quality over quantity idea and only buy a few good things here and there and I have even been selling off some of my less important SW stuff. So bring it all on.

Funny, I was kinda sorta contemplating this the other day. Wondering if it would have been better to only have a few PF's rather than the 12 I have with more to come. Although that spans my whole collection not just Star Wars. As for SW itself, I have noticed that Marvel is creeping in to my collection and I've been asking myself whether I want more Star Wars or have it balanced out a little more. So I guess I'm not so much SW'd out as just thinking about where to go with it.

Last year was the year of Sideshow for me...I was kinda burnt out on Hasbro...

...this year I am burnt out on Sideshow - the only fig I am getting so far this year is Boushh Leia....I am loving the TAC from Hasbro.

I am Jabba's out. I am Bubo'd out. I am Endor Trooper'd out. I am Chess Tabled out.

But I aint Star Wars'd out. At all.

I needs me alot more dollies before that'll happen.

I just got back into it via SSC after divorcing myself from it at the age of 18. So it's all fresh to me, and I don't have boxes and boxes of 4 inch figures in the closet.

(Okay, I experimented with the Hasblow 12" a couple of years ago, but I never inhaled.)

Exactly the same here, so I am not burned out for now. I just got back into it last summer after I stopped collecting around seven years ago. When I found SSC while surfing around and discovering the Jedi Order line, that was the spark that ignited the flame again.

Most of the Hasbro stuff that I collected from 95-99 is pretty much sold off on eBay with the exception of a few TPM carded figures and 12" figures.

Nah. I'm not OD'd one bit and I look forward to more cool stuff being released in the coming months and years. :chew :chew :chew

Nope I'm not SW'd out either. But I really haven't bought much SW merch until recently. I've always been a fan ever since I was a kid, but as a collector I always thought the new Hasbro stuff sucked and since I wasn't into busts, statues and the like I really pretty much stayed away.

But then Medicom came along and showed that quality 1/6 figures could be made and then of course Sideshow answered my longtime hope and took over Hasbro's license.... so at this point I'd say I'm just hitting my stride :lol

I’m actually in a weird place in regards to my collecting. I’m not Star Wars’d out, but I think I would like to keep my concentration on the better quality items, such as the MR Lightsabers, and Gentle Giant statues (sans Obi Clone war). I’m actually keeping an eye on Sideshows 12 inch line, I’m possibly going to be dropping this line based on the next few pieces that come out.

Actually I'm not really Star Wars'd out. I'm Hasbro'd out that's for sure. I used to get really into the 3" figures but after numerous rehashes I decided to give that up for sure but SSC kind of rekindled a lot of my fandom. I'm actually pretty much impatient at this point since we going through SW delays again....

I enjoy collecting LOTR and SW both so the more the better as far as I'm concerned. This though is more due to the fact I limit myself to statues, 1:6th, and PF pieces. I keep seeing so many great products it's hard to pick and choose more so than feeling saturated.

I haven't overdosed on Star Wars.....

I haven't bought a 3 3/4 inch SW figure in ages.....and really the only upcoming items I am getting that is from star wars are the Medicom Fetts....and probably the only SW products I will be buying after that will be from Medicom toy....

I've been collecting Star Wars figures since I became a fan when I was 4 years old, and I don't feel like Lucas is milking the franchise or anything like that, necessarily, in continuing to make merchandise. I love my classic figures, but I also love the continuing leaps Hasbro makes with the newer releases, like the super articulated figures, and I like adding variety to my collection. I also like that now, I'm an adult earning a paycheck and free to broaden my collecting into high end pieces like the 1:1 busts and other items of that sort. I don't collect everything, but there is deffinately newer and better things that I love the opportunity to get. I thought Hasbro Jango Fett 12" was one of their best and love the figure, I still like it, but now Medicom took on the challenge and took it many steps forward, and ultimately, more and more now, we get pieces that really draw us into the Star Wars world, like books draw you into their stories, and I love that and I will collect as long as items are made of things I like, there's no such thing as too much for me, of anything, the only limit to my collecting of anything, Star Wars or non-Star Wars, is money, I don't care if I have no room in my house, if it's cool, and I can afford it, I'm getting it, it's a passion of mine.

The problem isn't with SW, it's with not letting yourself burn out. The same can happen with any other property. The only distinction of SW is the merchandising empire started by Lucas, which is like no other.

For me, props have provided a clean break from figures. Keep SW at a safe distance, and you'll never burn out!

I moved away from Hasbro to props then the expense of props became too much so I moved on to Sideshow, now I'm just spent. I think I need to seperate, not divorce, myself from $tar War$ for awhile. Maybe in a few years come back to it but not make it my life-long obsession anymore.

Well put! That is how I feel. Looking at the poll I would say you are in the majority my friend.
