save the money from both and buy original art work from the next con. Original Pagees are great, and at SDCC they had an Alex Ross booth with loads of original art.

do you think Stan Lee will be at the next SDCC? I want to get his autograph.. I dont mind paying, although the $400 ticket for the meet and greet New York Comic Con seems a bit steep. Id rather meet Stan Lee and have the artwork signed at the convention.

This past year Stan's been at several cons, and I think he Usually charges $40 for a signing. I wouldn't be surprised to see him throughout next year's con circuit. I did get the Alex Ross Avengers canvas, And would probably try and get him to sign it also!

Tough decision between the Cap PF and the Avengers Canvas, in looking at these canvases, it seems like they don't really retain their Value. I have several of Ross's Canvas pieces and It seems only a few do retain there value, but overall Imo, if you wait awhile, you might be able to find the canvas a little cheaper.

I agree...If you want some quality wall, SAVE up and go to the SDCC, there is some great opportunities for some amazing oringal art if your willing to spend a little. I have purchased a few originals from my favorite artist and never regretted it. Be warned the Alex Ross originals like that sell for 8K and up but maybe you can find something smaller or another artist you like. I have bought original comic covers by my favorite artist for around 2-3k which is much more possible and you can get good character sketches or drawings for a few hundred and thats from the major players. You can always get the Cap statue but original art by an artist you like can never be replaced. If your looking to spend 1K plus explore your options. The best benefit, you buy originals you will be friends with people in the industry, just a tip

Im debating whether I should buy that Jim Lee and Stan Lee signed ltd edition art print X-Men #1 Visionaries or Premium Format Exclusive Captain America statue?

Or In your honest opinion would you rather have this

or

Captain America PF Exclusive.

Both cost about the same $1200 .... I only wanna choose one. Anyone purchase that print? Its on Canvas and signed by Alex Ross limited to 100.

I just received this canvas (#88/100) last week and I can't stress it enough, pics do not do this piece justice! In person, it is HUGE, incredibly vibrant and the overall attitude of the image makes you giddy.

Get this, you will not be disappointed!

Just a note: Framing it right will cost you almost as much!

ahh great now i gotta make another trip :slap:lol
and yeah a good frame job for something that size will cost ya a few bucks

Gonna stick with Bucky instead of the old cap, buy the EX... and eventually buy the Avengers canvas. It will be the first time I go to SDCC next year, so Ill probably double dip and buy another outrageously priced print there and hopefully meet Stan the man.

Original art ftw! 8k doesn't sound bad for an original of that size.

Absolutely, I'll definitely post pics once I get it back from the framer in a couple of weeks.

Not sure where I'm going to hang this one though. Want it over the head board in the bedroom but the wifey is not as thrilled about that idea as I am.:dunno
