Anyone else get the Warlords figures?

Just got my Jiang Wu-Yang (regular version) and Zhao Er-Hu today and MAN! I love these!! Makes me wish Hot Toys would tackle more matrial arts properties, it woul be a nice break from Enterbay who charge WAY too much. I only wish now that they could release the Jet Li figure they did for this movie...

Yep, I got all three and they are very impressive. I know nothing about the movie except it's the most successful ever in Japan? China? but having the figures makes me want to see the movie. It's amazing how HT can layer the clothing and make it look real - that's true of the PotC figures as well, but really comes through with these.

Yeah, China.... It's a very good movie, though a bit depressing. It's more historical and character driven in nature so there isn't much fighting, but the battle scenes they do have are pretty spectacular...

Excellent film, excellent figures! All three figures are meticulously detailed and I really wish HT was able to include Jet in the line up. Do yourself a favor, Darklord Dave and hunt down this movie. You won't regret it.

I wish HOT TOYS would do Curse of The Golden Flower figures.

although not exactly historically accurate, I think a Chow Yun Fat in the golden armor would make a sweet figure-

I didn't get them because Jet Li was never released. I wanted a complete set or none at all. By the way, the movie was awesome! Definitely check it out.

I haven't seen the movie yet, so I wasn't as "invested" in them as POTC, so Will, Davy and Cannibal Jack came first, but I will get them! (I hope!) I went ahead and put myself on the waiting list for now...

Actually HT did do Chow Yun Fat from that film - but it has a cartoony Eric So head and sells for over $500.

True, but most people would prefer the armored costumes over the robes.
The costumes in COTGF are amazing and would make nice yet extremely expensive figures.

Nope..didn't buy it because of no Jet Li. He's the main character...and without him on display, I didn't want to buy the whole set. It's no use without him.

In truth it makes no difference. These are three truly incredible figures. While I'd kill to have the Jet Li figure as well, these three have raised the bar that Hot Toys has already set so high.
