Here are a few shots on my 125 gallon tank. I keep mostly cichlids but have a few other fish in there as well. I have been in the hobby for about 10 years now. I used to have multiple tanks running, but cut back to just one. It's really a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. If anyone else has a tank post some pics.

Here is the whole tank

Two Firemouth chiclids ( they fight sometimes and one is a little beat up )

A small Salvini cichlid that lives in the driftwood most of the time.

The fish on the back left is a Festae cichlid that's usually MUCH more brightly colored, but she didn't seem to like me taking pics so she was nervous and lost some of her normal color.

Nice tank Kit when I was little my parents had a large saltwater tank and I would love to have one like it again.

Nice tank. I wish I had the time to maintain a tank like that. Yours is set up very nice though and it looks well maintained. I just don't have the dedication to put into a tank like that. I used to help my dad clean theirs when I was younger so I know they can be a bear to maintain.

Thats a nice tank. if I had the space and time to do it I would love a setup like that.

Unfortunatly i could not maintain the tank i wanted and collect 1/6 at the sametime, so the tank went.
What you got kit is the same as i wanted it to be, cichlid and lots of bog wood, love that stuff. Us to look fantastic in the evening and night even though it screws up the fish.
I had some great little frogs in there aswell, when i have a collection room i want to have a 4 foot tank in with my the collection in detolfs on either side of it.

If you get a 4 foot tank get a 75 gallon....4 feet is usually 55 gallons or 75 gallons. The 75 would be better if you plan on cichlids...same length ( 48 inches ), but the 75 has more depth.

She's afraid of them! She's a weirdo. :dunno :D

:rotfl

wow, interesting. I have never heard of someone being affraid of fish before....well, sharks, but that's different. I am not making fun of her at all. Just never head of that. Interesting.

Show her the pics of my tank when she starts getting on you.....it should scare her off giving you more time to game! :D

Nice tank J!

I'm into aquarium stuff, but I only have a 10 gallon because we live in an apartment. But I know all about the hobby, and already have all my stuff picked out for a saltwater aquarium when we get a house.

:rock

I always wanted to get a tank , but I want a salt water one with sharks, which is pretty expensive, plus all the time I spend away from home I would probably kill them.

But thats a cool setup you have there.

I actually ran a salt water tank for a while.....talk about a pain in the ass!!!!
If you just wanted to run the fish, fake coral, sand and some shells it's not bad. If you plan a reef tank with live coral and such it's a *****!!! It was actually so much work trying to get it set up right that it was not even enjoyable and I broke it down and went back to fresh water.....

Like I said, salt isn't bad if you jsut want the fish, sand, shells and sme fake coral though.

I would want real coral, and sharks. I have this things with Sharks, its funny I surf and would have to see one, but I have a fascination with them at the same time. The first time I was in Vegas after they opened that Shark reef I was there.
