They couldn't pay for better publicity than this. I just have no words to express my confusion. It's not even THAT great!! Obviously these people have never watched sci-fi before. Or even LOTR. Or that movie EARTH in high-def... that stuff is amazing.

That's just it, Dusty. I'm betting it doesn't blow me away. I'm sure it's got great CGI and is beautiful to look at, but being someone who has watched alot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy movies, I'm betting I'll like it, but it's not going to make me consider it the best picture of the year, decade or even of my generation like some are calling it.
Just from the trailers and stills I've seen of it, to me it just looks like very colorful and "fancy" animation.
Although if I go and don't want to leave my wife for a 10 ft tall blue hairless cat and want to tear my son in half to live on Pandora I'm going to feel a bit disappointed.

I agree there but I could watch Avatar on a more regular basis , just like alot of other Cameron movies.
