Anyone familiar with MODUCASE?

Hello guys!

In a few weeks i'm going to move as we were lucky to find a new house which is way bigger. Since the birth of my son, it will be the first time i'll be able to display all my stuff back.
I plan to order 3 DF120.
As i'm in France, i don't know if it's really interesting to order fron DISPLAY BOX rather than Moducase directly as i'll pay the 20% VAT and custom from UK. Some of you have already ordered for western europe? I have no idea what the shipping costs woule be?

It seems also that Display Box don't get all the light configurations.
For the DF120, they only provide led strip and not spotlights.
Any advices?

Concerning the display itself, as the moducase setup will only be used for my Batman 1989 collection, i think i'm gonna go for warm light and spotlights vs ledstrip. I don't want to go for something too bright and too exposed. I would like to play with shadows and get a museum mood.

I think you should contact Display Box and ask them for a shipping quote. The spot lights are also available directly from ModuSpace (under the "Accessories" sub-section), but unfortunately it seems like you'll have to order them separately since the option isn't available at Display Box.

Provided that they've even shipped, that makes for an April delivery this year (taking into account three months sea-freight). Seems way better than the regular Moducases (I have a Sixth 110 ordered from SSC since October 2023 that still hasn't shipped). If my Monos arrive around Spring this year, I'd probably stick with the line and just order the Sixth series and DFs for larger display pieces.

For my order, they didn't invoice me for my shipping charges until the Monos were already state-side. After paying, they dispatched out from their California warehouse 15 days later and they arrived at my door about 7 days after that via UPS.

Damn that's fast! In that case, here's hoping that mine arrives in a few weeks.

They have a shipping schedule posted on the site, so I was going off of the info there. I guess the best case scenario is that Monos have already arrived in CA.

Yeah, it's the new detolf-style cases from Moducase. They periodically release them in batches with an order window of two weeks. The Monos supposedly ship way faster than the regular Moducases.
