My class cost only $600. (Still way too expensive) :lol

I wouldn't even want to spend $600 :lol Those prices were from KAPLAN, which I'm sure is just inflated bull^^^^ anyway. Them charging so much and capitalizing on their name. I just downloaded a bunch of books online for free, probably the same thing.

If you don't mind me asking, what kinds of things did they go over in a class like that? Just different ways and techniques of how to answer the logic and reading problems? Advice of what to expect and how to take the test?

I never took an SAT class, but I would imagine that the types of classes are probably similar.

I took it about 10 years ago. I don't recall the exact point score, but it was in the 90%. I didn't take any practice tests, but did do A LOT of logic puzzles beforehand to condition the brain. It really helped to be able to quickly pick out patterns. It was tough, but nothing like the MCAT, which was more memorization than anything.

Yea, have a buddy taking the MCATs soon. He's telling me its a completly different test. So 90% is pretty good without any formal classes. I want to try to get into UCLA, so I'll probably need 95%+. What kind of logic puzzles did you do? Buy practice books at the book store ?

I went to UCLA as a Physiological Science undergrad, aiming for Med School, until I decided it wasn't for me. For the LSAT, yeah, I bought books with puzzles (I can't remember which anymore) and did them straight for about 2 weeks. That was the extent of my studying for the test.
