I can not believe how many statuettes Apatosaurus tail had broken! It is horrible what is happening around the world! Now honestly I feel pretty lucky with my Apatosaurus. Mine had a small crack, and dealer places gave me 100 euro discount on any statue that I bought from him!
Even I can not understand how the hell could break that tail when it's so well insulated? Just wanted to ask you if you came Apatosaurus, and look surprise: (
What number is it? I feel very bad when I see that one of the hottest companies in the world could not find a clever solution!

Mine is #344. I was definitely upset when I saw the damage (even though I did expect it in a certain degree due to the harsh handling from the idiots at the customs office and the delivery service). Since getting a replacement is a real pain in the ass (there are no extra units in the country for a replacement) and there is no guarantee that I'll get one in pristine condition overseas, I've decided to keep it and our local retailer offered a huge discount for the next Dinosauria piece in case I get it from him.

yes i´m very happy that nothing is broken, but i feel with Dyscrasia.
The apatosaurus was my 7th dinosauria piece, and all came in excellent condition, even the t-rex and the rex vs. triceratops dio, which i had ordered in italy.
the next days i will post some pics with the apato in my shelf.

Anyone want to sell a T-Rex. I had never even know Sideshow made these until 2 hours ago.

And I I want a T-Rex! Surely I can not find anywhere in Europe a T-rex from Sideshow, and frankly to give 600 euro on a t-rex ,on Ebay, ... not worth it! So far, Sideshow has shown us just what maquette will appear in 2012. Who knows, maybe will see a new Diorama Dinosauria in 2012 !

All these tail breakages are making me nervous, but do I need to worry much if it's just coming 1400 miles north? My Spinosaurus was perfect, but even my Proto vs. Raptor dio had a few of the tail feathers flaked off... (Good thing I'm also a modeller that's very used to cyanoacrylates)...

No offense, Shiro45, but can not give you justice, because we all gave a lot of money on these statues! Transport is not an excuse, big problem, as I say goes, the way they are packaged. If they insulate better, do not think they would break. And errors related to paint, or excess glue not related to transport!

OMG. This Apatosaurus maquette has to be the most beautiful sculpt I've seen! Wow. I'm ordering one on impulse. I've got no interest in the Dinosauria line, although the Stegosaurus looks really nice. But this piece?
