Yeah, there's a seller (customsbylisa) that likes to sell her Dinosauria pieces for $824 and change. That's what I mean when I say the price is artificially inflated. There's no research to see what these things are going for, they just put an obscenely inflated price up there to see if they can net any suckers who don't know any better... :slap

I won't pay that either (or buy anything else from that seller, BTW)... I check the completed listings to see what people are actually willing to pay for the different pieces. I DID just pay $300 for the Styracosaurus using the Buy-it-now option instead of bidding, because I reasoned that a $70-$80 increase is not a bad price to pay for a piece that came out over a year ago, set against the time and hassle of a bidding war with snipers just to try to get a lower price... (Besides, I LOVE that animal and the piece is gorgeous, so I still feel VERY happy about the acquisition)... :yess:

more a bad joke. these people have nothing in common with real collectors, they just wanna make money with these statues.:cut :duh

Timo you said a great truth! I give you absolutely right! I, for example, every order from Sideshow Dinosauria series, I have some emotions and feel an empty stomach! So I feel, such as Apatosaurus or Tupuxuara I waited almost a year, only I know what emotions I had! I'm sure many of you have had the same feelings:):lol
PS: Now wait after Stegosaurus ... with the same feeling:)

My Apatosaurus will indeed be here tomorrow! I hope the tail's OK...

Has anyone heard anything about what may be coming next after the Stegosaurus? I know we won't be seeing her for quite a while, but I'm dying of curiosity for whatever is coming after.

all i found out was that they have had something sculpted for release after the Stego..no idea what though. my sources have dried up as it seems only Jorge is sculpting for the line. Not downing Jorge's work at all..but I liked the sculpting variety we had with Adrian, Krentz and McVey.

SS T-rex, & Carno statues now on Ebay with starting bids of $150.00 & $250.00.:horror Good luck to whoever was looking for these two great sculpts!

Got it and guess what? She's PERFECT!!! Not a spot, blemish, or broken tail... Whew... :yess: :clap

Blade, it sounds like you know a lot of these sculptors personally, it's too bad you can't find out more. I agree that variety in the styles of sculpts are important and all of the pieces have strengths of their own because of that, but honestly, as long as the line continues with it's adherence to scientific accuracy combined with the phenomenal individual character of the pieces, I'll be happy...

Speaking of Jorge and his sculpts, is it just me or is the mother Stego's head a little too proportionally large? I may be way off, but I always thought the Stegosaur's heads were tiny compared with their bodies... :dunno

Hello Shiro45! I am glad to hear that the statue is in perfect condition!:clap:clap:yess: About Stegosaurus head, I do not know what to say,:cuckoo: It is certain that is one of the most anticipated statuette for 2012:impatient::gah::lol:hi5:

please, let it be a large carnivore...please let it be a large carnivore...please...:pray::pray:

After the Tupu, the Apato and the Stego we need a big predator now, maybe a Giganotosaurus as a maquette.

Hello guys! I have a request, someone from Europe, which owns and wants to sell a T-rex vs. Triceratops diorama or a model T-rex SideShow, or where can I try to find? To order in America is not a good idea, cost 30% customs duties and transport for 70 euro!:slap
Maybe give me some information where I can find, so as Timo found in Italy ! Regards Yves:wave:pray:

I just looked at the last two years and there were no Dinosauria pieces previewed during the 12 days...

BTW, does anybody else have any opinions on the Stegosaur's head? Am I just crazy?

Yeah, I would LOVE to see another big predator. The only piece I have so far is the Spino, which is beautiful, but I'd love to see an Acrocanthosaurus, Giganotosaurus, or especially an Allosaurus... Actually I have a feeling that no matter what they unveil, I'll be thrilled...
