Sorry for the necropost but these statues were 1/6 scale? Same as the current Weta pieces? Is this Sideshow line still going on?

These were true 1/6 like the latest Weta Hobbit pieces yes

The Sideshow 1/6 LOTR maquette line however is DOA

I figured as much but at least we still have Weta tackling both trilogies in the same scale.

That aragorn maquette is one of the best of this line, if not the best. The hobbit trilogy is missing a big character like aragorn so well play by Viggo.

Pretty awesome line if you ask me. Unfortunately since neither Iron Man nor Hulk are part of the Fellowship it will never be finished.
