Thank you! Both Lurtz and Aragorn are both fantastic....you can't go wrong with either one.

They are both great....but Lurtz is $500 and up and Aragon is $300. What about Gandalf?? Maybe the Uruk-hai Berserker??

Yeah I think that is best i guess to keep them in display selves with glass, in order to keep out dust. Shame the Aragorn PF and Lurtz PF are way to big for my display selves. Looks like it will just dust them off every 4 weeks

Saw it was available on FB. Yes, it's nice piece (I used to own one). But, I will always compare it to the amazing prototype that SS didn't give us in the end. So, that's the main reason I will never own one again.

I'd get one from SS now instead of holding out for the EX on this.

To me, the EX is nice but isn't a must have. This statue is so nice, it's a shame not to have one if you're a LOTR fan.

I had the Ex and IMO it was a fantastic piece. If you can jump on this I'd say do so. I'm sticking with the statue line as thats more what I like to collect and I don't have room for 1:4 pieces.

Congrats on the score Anubis, he's one of my favorites! I'm all about the PF's over the maquettes personally, but it's all a matter of preference. I posted a fw pics of mine earlier in the thread using the Tonner 'duster' to make him more of a 'complete' Aragorn rather than just an 'Amon Hen' representation:
