I asked SS why they didnt put lights in their Prime maquette that Im paying $1200 for. I see they conveniently dodged/avoided that question

Chris

This was asked and answered in an August 'Ask Sideshow' feature...

Q: Does Optimus Prime light up?

A: Puny human, Optimus does not NEED lights! Really, probably not – he’s just flat out impressive without them!

I've seen this before, but thats not an answer thats avoiding the REAL answer. Thats why I asked it again...more specifically.

That questions asks "IF" Optimus will have lights...we all know he doesnt. We saw this the second it was put up for PO. My questions is "WHY" he was never designed with them in the first place when it was such an obvious feature to have?

Well, I certainly cannot speak for the production/creative teams, but from what I gather from the August answer the one possible deciding factor was that the piece was impressive enough to simply not need a light-up feature.

I'm not sure when you submitted your question, but it could still be answered in an upcoming Q&A. The last round of questions just answered are from about a month or so ago I believe (with more always being worked on), so if yours was submitted recently, it could still be answered. If you submitted it a whole ago, there's no harm in re-submitting it again. :)

Light up features are cheap and gimmicky, anyway. I'm sure that Hasbro has 30 or 40 Bay-Former Primes for you to pick up with light-up eyes, motorized transformation, sound effects, etc. if that's your thing.

Another Q&A hit today. Glad to see Sideshow is trying to catch up. Disappointed there were no horror questions answered though. :monkey2

im disappointed in the lack of Predator questions being answered. It seems like most of the questions that get answered are for the LOTR and Star Wars dweebs :gah:. The only Predator questions they answered are some of the dumbest questions that are ever asked.

i know you guys have tons of quality Pred questions to be answered SS........how about answering them.......yea? :wave :exactly:
