Yes, they are. The previous box was horrible. The Styrofoam had shattered into pieces. Due to the base smashing through the Styrofoam, my base had been damaged at the part where the owl inserts onto it (I remember this had happened on quite a number these statues). The Styrofoam had broken into little pieces and had left little beads of foam coating everything (making a huge mess that took forever to clean up). Luckily, Athena and her weapons came out fine.
