Help Support Collector Freaks Forum:
So I ordered the Leonidas on the 21st (a day or two before they sold out) and everything went through. Now my order is canceled for some reason.. anyone else have this problem? No email.. nothing.. just logged in and saw it was canceled 3 days ago..

Seriously this stuff is junk of the worst kind.
People praise ARH because their (mostly unlicensed) 1000$ statues came out good, like Medusa and the Death Dealer on horse... but seriously Leonidas and Achilles are embarassing. How they can make unlicensed stuff, sell it at premium prices, make maybe 100 pieces total and still don't nail the basic paint apps, is beyond me.

Lol, no it doesn't. All the skin parts are done in that same way, with no details, no shading and pasty paint application. Paint app is very basic on the armor, shield and base too. These things are not worth 465$, not a chance.
Usual ARH s--t, from packaging to sculpt to paint to customer service, I pity the ones who still spend money on their statues.

Epic ARH, can't even sell 100 pieces, screws up his own customers with shady practices, can't even produce those few pieces they make without major QC issues.

I got a standard one , if I never see the unhelmet exclusive edition I still look mine as a nice statue collection . But you guys unhelmeted photos make me surprised , think I could hardly buy more of this company products .

Asking them about Perseus' exclusive head, being told with disrespect that there was no exclusive head anymore (without warning the customers) and having to argue my way to a refund on something I had already paid in full and that didn't include what I paid for has been more than enough to me to avoid any further business with them.
An experience shared by a lot of customers since periodically people come up complaining that they didn't get what they ordered while having to argue with Arahom because he doesn't even honor his own T&C (clearly written on the website).

You don't have to apologize. Your sculpts are great, they're just killed by the paint apps. While the new Medusa and Death Dealer on horse look good, it's clear that Leonidas and Achilles were made by some worse factory.
For a company that relies so much on half naked chicks and muscular men, the fact that over the years they've never improved in the least in painting skin tones is ridicolous, these things are painted like cheap nativity scenes figurines, you can't even see the lips on Leonida's headsculpt.
All this paired with the crappiest packaging and the worst customer service in the industry, along with all the possible shady practices a company can do.
I've never hoped for a company to fail since I started collecting, but after sharing my experience with Arahom along with others who had the same issues, I really wonder how the hell ARH is still in business and how small of an impact they made in all these years.
It's going to be fun to compare HMO's original lines with ARH, I own their Medusa bust and it's heads and shoulders better than almost everything done by ARH in all these years.

This friend of mine who got Leonidas, he's not picky, at all. He has the Iron Patriot Maquette and he's fine with it - that thing is a mess.
For him to reject a statue, it's a real accomplishment.
People (me included) are always very critical of Sideshow but seriously, Sideshow and all other companies are so much ahead of ARH it's not even funny, just compare it to the latest Conan PF, this is a crappy pic I took with my phone and the face details are ten times better than that joke in the pictures above (as is the rest of the statue):
