Awesome wolf, I figured you did haha. I just bought Achilles, I can't resist greek mythology stuff.

I couldn't resist these awesome pieces either not to mention that Troy was a spectacular depiction of Achilles. After Conan they are my favorite warriors. Always loved Greek Mythology and history.

Achilles Ex sold out. Barely got my order in. I couldn't live without the helmet less portrait for this guy.

It was only by random chance yesterday that I saw the pre-order was up and ordered the EX on a whim.
Has there been any news on when we can expect to see the EX head?

EDIT: On Facebook they've replied and said EX head not finished and they're still working on it.

I just grabbed it from their Facebook page

Its obviously not Pitt being precious since they're have been recent 1/6 Hot Toys figures such as Inglorious Basterds but for whatever reason, the rights holders are apparently not interested in merchandise. Its popular in collectors circles and they're have been numerous bootlegs from multiple companies in different scales/forms but nothing official.

Saying that, I like that it is slightly different and would like them to go farther. The armor and look is actually more complex than Pitt had in the movie

To be honest I'd rather it not have Pitt's likeness. I like my Achilles to be generic and based on no one in particular.

Achilles has now arrived!
They apparently have a 1000+ boxes to slowly work through and ship out but hopefully I'll see him soon!

If anyone is interested, ARH put up a post on Statueforum offering certain statues at 40% off.
Majority listed they only had a couple of and went instantly but I think they have some Achilles left for anyone interested!

I ended up cancelling this statue after the awful EX head was revealed (non helmeted head) and applying the store credit to Tarzan: Primal Rage.

With this deal I got an Achilles at 40% off and it arrived yesterday. Very happy with it.
Paint apps look great, much better than I normally expect from ARH.
Crazy good bargain at $240 instead of $400.
