No offense, but she is much darker and redder in the face then what was shown at SDCC. Like I said it doesn't bother me enough to return her but saying they are the same is misleading.

What is the important here is to note is that the AP's vary slightly as they come from a different paint.
The factory does things different. Let me explain.
The factories in china uses different type of paint that is not available here in the USA. Once we get the proto or sample we try to match the paint as best as we can. However our paints will not be the same since they are not the same type of paint.
We did our best to import this brand of paint but we cannot as there are toxins in it. So Arahom will choose what colors are best and he does lets say 10 at a time for the AP's at one time. They all use this color of paint and you will get a little variation in color on the AP.
If you like consistency in paint and color you will have to get the Sideshow versions. The wait is longer but the paint will not be different than the factory sample as they are one and the same.
If we got the Medusa for example and painted it here, she would very different in paint, even do its the same colors.
I am not saying get the Sideshow versions per say, the AP's are done well! The issue is do you want something done by the Artist from ARH or would you rather get the factories work. So far the factory is stellar and we do our best to match them.
For some anything AP is better as it was done by ARH and the crew from ARH. But sometimes its not that important to some of you. Sometimes the value of the AP is greater later on because of this, but sometimes it matters not. Its difficult to say. I have AP Leo 1/6 ARH Studios and he is now an ARH "Grail" and very sought after. The same can now be said about the AP Medusas as now they are sold out and very hard to find.
