Such an awesome paint scheme. Are you going to repaint all of the parts or just the sections that need to be in red?

Considering the price of the Decoction Models figure, I wouldn't blame you.

I still need to get a display case for mine, and put it on a turn table somewhere. Such an amazing, well-articulated figure.

I got my second one "cheap" on AmiAmi, was $275 + s/h. Supposedly it had a defect on the tip of the chest piece, but it was so nominal when I got it in hand that it's barely visible.

That's a really good price! I'm sure any damage can be fixed with the repaint you have planned, too.

Mentioning this figure, I've been trying to hunt down the bonus parts to no avail. Strange that no one's even selling it separately on Ebay.

It's just a duplicate of the Marve rifle, so its nothing unique that doesn't already come with the base version.

The Kotobukiya Decoction Models Rayleonard 03-Aaliyah Supplice is being re-released in May 2025, but with a glossy paint scheme this time. It's up for pre-order at the usual retailers for anyone who missed it a few years ago. Price is around $398 (in Japan) to $499 (in the states).

If you're in the States, I'd recommend ordering it domestically to save on shipping and potential customs fees if the de minimis exception is repealed before then.

The first release was fairly limited, so the re-release presents a good opportunity for those who missed it. Although, it comes with a markup of around $50 to $150 (depending on the retailer).

I remember a few years ago, when the lead designer for the Decoction Models line teased a few smaller models of Mirage C-01 GAEA from Nexus and Leos Klein's AC from AC 2. He expressed interest in releasing them as part of the Decoction Models lineup. I hope Kotobukiya gets around to doing it.
