Do you really want King Conan at this point? I think it's probably just best left at that final shot of Conan the Barbarian of him sitting on the throne. I'm guessing King Conan now would just have lots of bag CGI and Arnold taking his normal "I don't give a crap, lets just make fun of everything" approach.

At least first one was somewhat cinematic. Sequels felt like adaptations of old unfunny anecdotes.

I thought part 3 was a lot better than the first 2 So sure, keep making them, but make them rated R.

Don't bother making a movie. Just get all those guys together in a pub and film it. Make sure there's room for arm wrestling competitions and have a boxing ring out the back so Seagal and Van Damme can go at it.

I have only seen the first one, and I didn't even much like that.

The second one is arguably the best of the lot. Actually succeeds somewhat in capturing a little of that ridiculous 80's action movie magic mostly thanks to a great scenery-chewing performance from Jean-Claude Van Damme as the villain.

I saw the third when it got leaked by hackers, and I still wanted a refund. Worst of the three by far, Mel Gibson is utterly wasted for one thing.

I would reiterate my earlier post (I was quite serious) but if they did go for another fictional action movie I would like to see a good bit more joint screen time for both Sly and Arnie together. I don't care to see Sly and some younger action star who was well after Sly's time. That's one of the reasons, probably the main reason, I haven't been particularly enthusiastic about these films. I want to see the vintage action men together, couldn't give a toss about the newbs frankly.

The Expendables should have been done in the mid-90's. Imagine how huge it could have been.
