Re: Arsyn's thread Updated 11-04-11

Maglor: Thanks!

tbay:Thanks a lot. I'll need to re-check the movie to be sure of what mods need to be made first, but I think I'll mod him for Se7en soon.
Re:Bret...I'd like to think so!
And for the record: I'm a fan of BOTH Bret and HBK!
Bret and Shawn were tied for my top spot since the early 90's. Their America vs Canada digs were hilarious.:peace

uh..HBK's entrance was way better though! :pfft:

MarfMaster: Thanks! Almost? Yeah, I think I can understand. He's probably like the 100th durden done in the last 4 years...:(

hehateme23: Spike Lee and Michael Jordan ref?

TurdFerguson: Almost ready. :)

Cheungkinmen: Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing you paint and shoot a few. :D

Re: Arsyn's thread Updated 11-09-11

Can't argue about HBK's entrance, especially for the iron man match. These guys both were awesome and their matches were always incredible.

Love the short haired Brad. Looking forward to a Se7en version, definitely will pick that up and the long haired fight club brad.

Awesome work buddy!
You can put me down for the two versions of Pitt & Reeves :)
Any chances that you will rework a little bit the hair of Tyler? It looks awesome already but I think that it looks a little bit too messy? It's my only critism on all your sculpts!

Re: Arsyn's thread Updated 11-09-11

tbay: Thanks! :1-1: Any preference for se7en expression?

neo: Thanks! Are you referring to the long haired version? He's already been molded with a couple casted up but I'll re-work him if necessary. The hairstyle is a bit thicker than he had it in the movie, but I always thought the style was a random bed-head kind of look. Are you saying I overdid it stylistically or the actual technique was sloppy? You can email me at [email protected] for a more detailed discussion if you like.

elvis1976: Glad to hear it. I'm looking forward to you bringing him to life!

I'd be happy with anything that brings out the best likeness, does that mean it's happening soon? I've been working on a se7en custom for years!

Re: Arsyn's thread Updated 11-09-11

I wouldn't say immediately.
If it's just hair modifications than it'll be soon.
If I go with the conflicted look of his last scene, it'll be later.
It'd be a nice excuse to do Freeman if Robbins happens. I'll pm you about it soon.

Awesome. I'd be fine with hair modifications of the existing sculpt (as well as the bandages) because it looks great as is.

Freeman would be great too:hi5:

Re: Arsyn's thread Updated 11-09-11

If that's true I'll take it. Less pressure!! ;)

Oh Arsyn,

Thank you to be so open to the discussion, it's by far the best Tyler sculpt that I have seen! :)
But I just think that the hair could be a little more Spikey!

On your sculpt, the haircut shape looks great, it's just that on the top of the head, it seems to have a lot of hairs ( volume )!
Sorry man, my english is not so good when it come to haircut! :D
I don't know if someone else think the same than me and can help! :)

Re: Arsyn's thread Updated 11-09-11

No need for anyone else to comment on it. I agree. I think I was in denial...:|
I'll thin out the volume and try to get the spiky symbolism a little stronger.
I'll have to rework him in a week or so to avoid too much interference with the other projects since the damage from molding was a little more than I would like. It's like he's balding. :rotfl
He should be back in a couple of weeks. I'll try for sooner though.

Cheers
