I was talking to Debalfo yesterday when he opened up his list and apparently it's just adding on to the list he's already had for the past year or two.
I wanted to be safe than sorry, so I emailed him to join up again and he replied back saying not worry, I was still on his list. Considering I was #9 on that list and I still haven't got anything, I have no idea why he would be bothering to put new people on, unless he's selectively choosing names of the people he wants to do before others.

As a Turner original art owner (and let me say I'm jealous), what would you say is fair pricing for his work? I never see any of his Image/Top Cow works, a lot of his AspenMLT stuff can range from $1500 to about $3500, and his DC run can reach into the high $9000...
In particular there's a Supergirl/Lex Luthor cover for sale, but I can't tell if it's really worth $5000 or if that's inflated just cuz the man is no longer with us. I'd like to make an offer to someone on CAF for his piece, a simple character composition that was made into the cover of one of his sketchbooks, but I have no idea what a fair offer would be =/

a fathom cover/pin up by turner went for $2100 on ebay a couple days ago, but that wasn't really one of the big covers

It's a very nice piece, but for $5000 I better dam well be in love with it. The CAF piece I'd love to make an offer on is here:

Mike is making a move to art full time. As such he can dedicate much more time to it as a profession.
So his commission list should be getting worked through and as he adds they will be gotten to sooner than later as this will be his bread and butter moving forward.
Not that you shouldn't get on the list if you are hoping for a piece as we never know how this can change for an artist.

for the first one, $5K is a tad high...more like $3-3.5K. I'd rather the second one between the two
