Hey - sorry to break some bad news! Unfortunately, Mark's not going to be able to make it to Big Apple Con after all. His schedule has been nuts and we have moved a trip to Japan up from December to November, so it's was too much to do right now. Sorry to disappoint anyone that was hoping to see him.

As far as conventions, i think he's done for the year.

Just stopped by my Atomic Comics and decided I wanted to get all of the recent Jason Scott Campbell spiderman comic covers. Had to drive to another store to get one and lo and behold on the shelf were two JSC prints: the blackcat one that I didn't pick up at SDCC (which I kicked myself for later) and the spiderman and Blackcat kissing one that was issue 606 of Amazing. $25 each. Nabbed them both. I'll try to get some pics up later. They look fantastic.

I know not all of you like this style of art but I had to show this off. I've been getting a pretty decent collection of figures based off the artwork of Shunya Yamashi.ta lately and I was able to pick up what I consider my grail among them thanks to a friend. I had already accepted that I might never get this one cause it's pretty hard to get a hold of now, since it was released like 3 years ago and it's really popular. It's the Mirei-san figure and I'm so happy that I have it.

I could easily post a whole bunch of pics in here but I won't flood you guys with them. I normally don't post pics of these in here but like I said, this one is special to me and I'm really excited that I got it. So here's a few pics and thanks for hearing me out guys.

Thanks man. I've gotten most of them from online retailers, BBTS, Hobbyfan.com and Animecornerstore.com The Mirei-san though I had to have a friend help me out with. Pretty much the only place you can find her now is Ebay and even then it's pretty rare. I missed out on one that was an actual auction and that hurt but another showed up not long after with a BIN and I had my friend grab it for me, since I don't want to use Ebay myself.

It worked out better this way anyway since the one I missed out on originally was displayed and had a couple paint chips on the leg. This one that I got was brand new in the box, never opened, so I'm really happy.

And Mark Brooks exclusive print of Cloak and Dagger. This print is slightly larger than the 14x17 page it's in.

And some models from this years SDCC. The Mad Hatter one was gorgeous, if fake boobs is your thing. The black and white print didn't turn out so well, but it was a combo deal.

Great stuff. So those were at the Long Beach Con from this past weekend? The guy at Atomic said JSC was at their booth all weekend.

I wish I was able to get more cons in order to get these prints. I'm okay with spending $20-$30 each at the show, but don't want to spend the prices they sell for afterwards on Ebay.

So are most prints that standard size ? Most of the ones you guys get seem to fit perfect.

What do they run?

I'll be quite upset if JSC were to pull out that BC print at Baltimore when I can't go !
