Love Jim Lee's style, but he was super crabby at the Philly Con like two years ago and rubbed me the wrong way...then I found out that he was actually sick and showed up to sign artwork and do sketches and then I love him again. That book looks great.

Love Jim Lee's style, but he was super crabby at the Philly Con like two years ago and rubbed me the wrong way...then I found out that he was actually sick and showed up to sign artwork and do sketches and then I love him again. That book looks great.

I saw him at an Islands Restaurant last year at LBCC during lunch. I saw him sitting at a table, turned away, did a double take and looked back. I thought, "Oh ____, that's Jim Lee", he realized I recognized him and he nodded his head and smiled at me.

I'v only flipped through it a couple of times but i think it's really great. It's 271 pages of big, high-res behind-the-scenes pictures and scetches and commentary. You get to see how much work went in to making this movie and how they did it.

Thanks i've already seen the review and it does look pretty damn good just sorting more opinions. Think i'll eventually pick it up.

I dont have pics, but I just recieved my Art of Darksiders and the book is fantastic but I have to say my only complaint is the binding. After having it only 5 days, the binding is already starting to fall apart and seperate and everytime I even turn a page I hear cracking as its loosening up.
