Yes I've seen it, it's one of the dumber movies I've seen.

What does me buying the figure have anything with liking the movie? I didn't really like the Wolverine movie but the figure is outstanding. I like Punisher so I got the figure, I like Wolveine so I got the figure, even though the movies were lame I'm still a Marvel fan.

Actually, except for the "political statement" recruiting scene, I thought it was pretty respectful for a Punisher movie.

Not to argue about the HS, which I really like, but I think your photo with the light and shadows on his face show how good the likeness really is. I was worried when I first ordered if he may turn out too "hound dog " looking as well. Once in hand I was very impressed with his expression. My friends that have seen this guy say its one the best figures I own, but that might change since Stallone as Ross is showing up today... Now when is someone gonna make a Rome custom?

I too really love the headsculpt...From the promo pics, I was afraid it was going to look too "bill murrayish"...lol...But in hand, from alot of angles, it really is awesome...I dont know how accurate it is to the movie character, as I havent seen the movie...But an awesome sculpt...

Ray was great in War Zone even if the movie was junk. The only real issue I had with Ray in the movie was I wish he had packed on some muscle for the part.

My thought too, I dunno if he had enough time to beef up. He has the height would be great if he "spartans" out for another run at the character.

I just got mine today, it's a nice figure. I bulked up his body a bit, fixed the chest skull, changed to SS CIA pants and switched out his hands. I'm still not sure about the HS, looks too much like a hound dog. I was thinking about switching it out with a SSC Flint HS. Over all it's an ok figure but need better weapons.

not to beat a dead horse but even knowing that you are a Marvel and Punisher fan I still can't grasp why you bought this figure if you didn't like the film and you are not even planning to keep the weapons that came with the figure. Wouldn't it have been easier to just do a custom Punisher figure? I know ya said you liked the vest on this figure but between eBay and Toy Anxiety it seems it would have been easier to just buy the vest. Do you plan to use the head for another figure at least or sell it off? I would be interested in the head if ya sell it.
Not tryin to come across like a ____ or anything I am just tryin to wrap my head around getting the figure if the vest was the only thing you really liked. Your money you can spend it how ya wish.

The main reason why I got the figure was because of his gear and clothing, I looked on ebay for him, the gear and clothes alone ran about $65. Then I checked out the selling boards here and S-Ramos hooked me up with a great deal. The only thing about the figure I wasn't real happy about was the HS but it's growing on me. If I do get rid of it it's all yours. The issue with the HS besides the "sad hound dog" is that to me the Punisher is a mean looking dude and IMO I don't think this HS pulls it off. I'm not saying its not a nice HS, the paint apts are up there with HT he just looks too sad for my tastes.
I'm just really picky about how my favorite heroes are portrayed on screen as well as in toys which all boils down to my back-ground I guess. Ray Steveson did a fine job as Punisher, I wish he had bulk up for the part. The movie its self was horrible; the villains were lame, the line delivery was a joke, plot laughable and the fighting...weak. Even with all that I still like Stevenson for the part. And yes I know some people on here will get all poopy because I put sand in their panties but hey it's my opinion and just like "O" rings everyone has one.

The figure is growing on my though, I did a little more work on him.

they weave in and out of the straps on his vest, like a wicker basket.
