Mine just got delivered, had a quick look and I'm impressed with the overall feel of him. Never bought an AF before and the tailoring's decent, accessories nice and I quite like the sculpt too :)

Congrats for getting this early man! I'm still waiting for mine. Yup, AF are good value for money. Their base bodies are solid, as are the tailoring and accessories. THeir headsculpts IMO have paint jobs better than Sideshow's, while being about 60% of what SSC's charging lately. My AF Lee Christmas is posed next to Hot Toys Barney Ross and you can't tell that he's just half the price.

Btw, is Gunn's knife metal? Lee's knives are. I hope it is! :D

Enjoy your figure buddy! :hi5:

^ I'm looking forward to getting home and posing this guy :)

Yes, the knife is Metal! it is nice.

Only thing I'm not sure about is the "bendy" hands. Will probably get my self a couple of generic hands in fixed poses - the gloves look flexible enough to slide on easy anyway.

Hope you get yours soon.

EDIT - yes the body does feel sturdy as hell. Not at all floppy and seems to hold a pose well.

Man getting those shotgun shells into the webbing was a PITA! It will definitely try your patience.

Would love to see a Hale Caesar next.

Anybody else thinking about adding a shemagh and maybe a body swap to expose the muscle arms?

I love this figure! So much fun gearing him up!
The only thing I'll be swapping out is to a pair of fixed posed hands.

They're not crap, I just find it really challenging to pose them naturally. His left hand in the pic is actually a fixed posed Thor hand that the glove slipped over easily, so I'm going to do the same with his right.

The bendy hands he comes with are actually fine asthetically, but I can't get on with them.

I'll prob also try some fixed posed gloved hands on him.

Congrats, Darthman! Can't wait to get mine!

Those who'd want to use hands for this figure -- be sure that you're willing to have them stained by the gloves! AF gloves do stain like crazy!

I'd say the ART FIGURES hold their own with the Hot Toys figure. I'm really happy with these...
