This thing is getting a lot of buzz. I wonder if its going to get seen by the license holder. Dredd on the badge is a very specific image that can't be played off like a head sculpt.

Perfect, thanks - Alter Ego seems like the most reputable company - has anyone ordered from any of the others before? I know some people had probs getting their Punisher figure when that came out, but can't recall which stores.

Also, Ekia Hobbies has it up as well for $133 https://www.ekiahobbies.com/af-015-artfigures-heavy-armored-special-cop/ (no idea what they're like)

I've never felt the need to own a custom/unofficial figure before, but I've been wanting to see a good 1/6 Dredd film figure for so long and even though it's obviously not 100% accurate (possibly so they don't get sued), this is great work. That said, the unlicensed work around name does make me giggle a bit

Out of interest, does anybody know if Art Figures usually come with a stand of any sort?

My response was aimed at Robbie who was concerned because of all the buzz this figure was getting. I don't want this figure to get canned; I'd be sooo ****en pissed if this **** gets canceled..

Its a technicality but I would agree that it most definitely says DAEDD. Might be enough.

It's not.

The fact that the whole thing is the reboot Dredd. . . if it ever even got to a trial, it's not like the judge (no pun intended) is going to say "Oh, clearly this is Judge Daedd, not Judge Dredd, there's no license infringement here, case dismissed"
