Yes the pegs are cheap and fragile, the bit ends that go into the hand snap easy. Out of the box he has the bendy hands on and they came off gently enough, but when i tried pull off the knife hands they snapped. Yeah heating up the hands to make them come off easier is prob a good idea but seems tedious to do every time u want to change hands. I wont bother posing him in any other way besides his blades so no big deal. I can tell u though if they do snap on yours it will be difficult to to get the broken bits out.
I kinda hate wrist pegs on figures, they always break at the weak end and the wrist end is always hard to remove. If it happens i suggest (what i did) is soaking the hands in a glass of hot water till they get soft. Then dig the broken bits out with something. I used tiny flathead screwdriver and a knife. For the wrists remove the forearm wraps by gently pulling it forward over the broken peg. Then i used a vice grip to pull it out.
Though i suppose it better to not break them in the 1st place and either just use caution or switch them out for hot toys ones right away sot they wont break.
