I like the show that much, but Im a completest and I couldn't just get one. I already have the mcfarlane figures, the Gentle Giant busts, and I will be getting the ThreeZero figures too. So $400 a pop might be hard to swallow.

Yeah...I'm not crazy about the head sculpt so I'm not sure if I wanna pay 400 bucks for something I'm not 100% on.
I think if I was to buy this line I'd pick up only a few select pieces...Zombie Merle and Daryl for sure, just not every character.

If Gentle Giant starts getting even better licenses I will be switching over to collecting them for 1/4 scale. Their paint jobs are always amazing. It's like they're doing amazing work and paint like what Sideshow used to produce. Very excited to see what they come up with. Still I like Sideshow but unfortunately their paint work and quality has been very unpredictable these last two years on PFs. So hit or miss so I'm glad Gentle Giant is doing some fine work. I like the signature clear base as well.

I say it's worth it because they always do a quality paint job. I dislike mini busts though so I'm hoping they start doing 1/4 scale only.

I really like Michonne's character but I'm on the fence, leaning towards, on getting her statue.

I'm definitely getting Daryl when he is up for PO though.

$400 is too much for her character,GG is not yet SS! For 400 bucks we should get an environment base. The surrounding in the show is what gives the story so much character. So this statue only having a clear in my opinion cheap base, is somewhat of a definite a Fail on GG part.I Will wait and see if I can get her from a fellow collector down the road.

The clear bases on GG's statues are the only thing I don't like about them but the overall quality, on most of their statues, is amazing.

I stopped thinking about ES a looooong time ago.

I don't care how many statues a company makes as long as I can add one to my collection.

I stopped thinking about ES a looooong time ago.

I don't care how many statues a company makes as long as I can add one to my collection.

Maybe you're a rich man, and if so, good on you but I like to be able to recoup what I paid for a statue if ever I lose my job. Thankfully when I needed funds I was able to sell some low ES PFs. When they make a gazzllion like Sideshow did with batman, good luck in trying to get back nearly what you paid. Regardless, Gentle Giant is awesome and I hope they give Sideshow a run for their money in 1/4 scale. Sideshow is getting too lazy with paint and QC and greedy with ES just IMO. It would be nice to have two companies keeping each other on their competitive feet in terms of quality

I think GG has definitely stepped up their game lately when it comes to statues. I am also on the fence with this piece. I might wait and see how the others turn out first.

Not about making money just being smart about what you spend on and being able to get it back. Also, the more of an ES there is on a piece, the less "special" I find it to be. Never bought the batman PF for the same reason. Gentle Giant is awesome because they give an amazing paint job on final product. They've grown amazingly on quality where sadly, sideshow continues to decline but of course things will hopefully change back for the better (slightly lower ES and better paint). Lol we won't ever change each others opinions about this so let's not try. To each their own.
