Asajj in 30 Days

Well it's looking like the crunch of figures all at once is going to be standard op. At least some planning can be done to plan for it next year.

I canceled Boushh since money got tight all of a sudden. But I am sure she will be up on second chance and I can nab her with my CIV card. I could never cancel asajj though. That exclusive is just way to cool.

I am really looking forward to Asajj. She looks to be as good as any of the figures so far. And, like Maul, Fisto, and Plo Koon, she has one of those portraits that does not require an actor-specific likeness, so it will be easy for Sideshow's Manufacturers to do well. If that figure is 1/2 of what the proto was...it'll be worth twice what it cost.

I caught in the July 5 Podcast that Yahoo is acting shady with Sideshow mail of late (probably why I never got Leia 25 day notice) and I have a Yahoo account so I'm trying to stay on top of notices through others incase Yahoo blocks mine out.

I got a 15-20 day notice about 4 or 5 days in my comcast email,so 10 more days and it should start to ship.Never had any problems with my yahoo account other than alot of spam.

Move to Gmail. I get craploads of spam in my yahoo but none to my gmail account.

This is the first figure I've got two on order - one exclusive and one regular. Not sure if I'll end up with the regular as well - depends how tight money gets at the time I suppose.

They've bundled three incoming figs for me to cut down on shipping (Street Clubber, Boushh, Legacy Moore Bond) I imagine that Asajj will be added to that order now as well as I've got the Exc. on pre-order. Oh well, when it rains it pours... but oh man is it gonna feel like Christmas morning when this package arrives.

I use Hotmail for my shipping notices, and I haven't received anything for Asajj yet. I got my order in fairly quickly, and the e-mails aren't bouncing because I received my NA Holo Sidious notice already.

Also, I wonder if SSC ever changed the robe to the accurate cloak??? Probably not, but it'd be a nice surprise...

Hope so! But really at this point I just hope it's black, and not the dark brown of the proto. She was lookin' pretty sweet around CIV, so hopefully they'll knock this one out like the previous two Siths!

So I called Sideshow today...


I asked them if Asajj would be pre-auth'd soon, and I was told:

1) Figure isn't expected in the warehouse for about another month

2) No 10-15 day notices for Asajj have been sent. 20-25 notices should arrive on Friday. The only 10-15 notices have been for Leia Boushh

So it doesn't look like Ventress is coming earlier than expected. A bummer, but I bet this is good news for those who are going to be slammed with SDCC merchandise.
