They could at least make a clip and show how glorious dem previous movies were, make some jokes about it, etc.
I don't have to get excited over obvious notebook references.
I want to be excited for a good show with smart writing, solid direction and entertaining actors.

He looks a little thinner maybe, but I think it's his age that makes him look bloated.
From what I've read, it seems to be in tune with where AOD left off.

Well Raimi is involved, I'm sure he'd want as much practical as possible. He's directing the first episode as far as I know.
