Mr. Feng from Taiwan.
Howie are these considered customs or will they be produced? coz if they will be produced I'll start saving money right now :)

Unfortunately, so far not for sell. But he does sell his stuff over yahoo auction Taiwan or to some close friend. Well, very expensive tho

Wow. :eek

Thank you!

Clothing by Ha-Rue is displayed beautifully. Ha-Rue Blog is here. I also love the display with tall black pedestals inside a case. Stunning.

I see two sculptors to watch. The first is Gorae. If you check Gorae's blog you can see which sculpts in the show were his. This is from Gorae's site:

The other is Feng, who is the creator of the Indy and the older Harrison Ford (Air Force One?), the Last Samurai Cruise, the War of the Worlds Cruise, and the 10 Blocks Willis. WHO IS FENG? Anybody have a link for Feng?

And what's the story behind the two characters standing back-to-back, the tall one and the short one? Figures in scale!

Man, in Asia they take this hobby seriously!

WOW, Fight Club, Indiana Jones, Last Samurai, Die Hard, HellBoy, Bruce Lee, Troy...this guy's my freaking hero. So no change in his selling? What am I saying, probably couldn't afford it anyway, but it's nice to dream....

Those are from Hong Kong movie - "Infernal affairs"

US version is "the Departed"

Okay. Now we're getting somewhere. "Infernal Affairs" figures with headsculpts by Feng of Taiwan exhibited at the 2006 Asia Toys Expo...where did the bodies come from? Who makes 1:6 scale bodies to correspond to various real-life heights?

Thanks for helping focus the search!

I found an interesting page from 2002 about Feng...his work has come a long way. There's a self-portrait on the page.

I wish they'd make two figures from the movie "So Close". I love that movie! :)

Good stuff, seems like custom sculpting is gaining momentum for 1/6 scale around the world. :D

Once again Asian sculptors show the rest of the world how it's done with some awesome stuff. Arnie Kim's Bruce Lee and Indiana Jones are still my favorites though and with Indy appearing on the Enterbay stand does this confirm it's release for next year?

Didn't Shai just say that we will never see a Tyler Durden? Also that First Blood Rambo beats Hot Toys hands down!
