Glad to see they made the wrappings a separate accessory. With or without option.

This whole line is a mess. Another reason why I can’t stand it. They fail to get various details right.
I kind of agree with this. Aside from their takes on CW Ahsoka and Savage, I've utterly despised this line. Translating animated characters to stylized live action versions is a huge fail imo. And I'm losing interest in this figure with each passing day.

But we are most certainly the minority on this, as most people seem to love it and will take the day off from work to clown on any SS figure, for obvious reasons of course lol.

I wish I liked their CW Ahsoka. That portrayal by Ashley Eckstein is one of my favorite characters in SW, and the figure just doesn’t look like the animated character. I’ll include that figure as a total fail lol.

Simply put, I wish this line was animated ala ITSV line, but like you said, everyone prefers it this way. I’ll just never understand wanting something that isn’t accurate to anything. This whole line is made up to me. And what really grinds my gears is when they make clone figures but can’t get certain details, accessories, weapons, etc right for live-action.

I know everyone says Hot Toys and Sideshow must have an agreement to where only Sideshow is able to do animated SW and Hot Toys has their realistic lines, but that’s just speculation imo. I’ll be forever salty with this line, and I think I am cause the Clone Wars show is my childhood.

In a way, I should be grateful this line isn’t animated style. My wallet would’ve been shot. I’d just have rather had a Savage figure that looks like the guy. I love animation and have never had issue with it being used as another medium to tell a story, the character designs themselves stand on their own as well for me, imo.

I don't particularly dislike the HT Savage. Quite the opposite, in fact. It does look great imo. But it ain't him, either. And it's a character from a show that I adore.

I was initially floored by the announcement but now, I'm leaning towards hoping SS does him. I'm already all in on that line minus that absurd looking Ahsoka. Cad Bane should be delivered next week so looking forward to that.

Put me in the camp of liking the live action interpretation of these figures, even though there is a range between more and less stylized. They blend in with the other Star Wars movie and tv show figures in a way that works for my collection and display. This guy definitely pushes the edges of being more stylized but I still think he's going to look great with CW Maul and Sideous. Congrats to those that don't like it and aren't trying to patch the gaping hole in their bank account :)

At this point, I think I’ll get Kotobukiya Ahsoka and Rex to represent the Clone Wars. They look the most like the show designs. I think I’d get Maul if they expand on this line and made Bo-Katan and other characters.
