Just beautiful. I got my envelop from Asmus that was supposed to contain my neck connector, and the only thing in it was an empty Ziploc bag.

The sarcastic side of me wants to say “it’s the thought that counts” but that just stinks. I will post when mine comes. Hopefully it was just a random one time mistake and they send you a neck connector ASAP.

You know, it wasn't that big a deal for me from the start. I probably have one lying around somewhere that would work, but now it's a matter of how could you not realize there was nothing in it. I e-mailed them, so we'll see.

I got mine a few days ago and luckily mine had the post in with him. Still haven't tried it out yet though.

That was what I thought initially. Mine didn't come with the peg, but I wasn't going to sweat it. But after going through my parts bin and trying three different neck connectors from different bodies (apparently no two companies make their neck pegs exactly alike), I couldn't find one that would fit. So my Aragorn has been sitting decapitated and sad since he got his new head last month.

I hope when my peg arrives it will actually be in the envelope, and I also hope they replace yours asap!

Man sorry to hear about the empty bag...to be honest I was not expecting a peg lol then it showed up today....despite errors asmus seems to really care about the customer

Mine arrived, but the envelop was ripped open and empty.. So I messaged asmus and am waiting to hear back from them.

The sculpted hair made the hood look pretty silly before, but now with the rooted hair, I think the hood looks great over it!

The new neck peg makes the head pretty loose on the neck, but overall I think this upgrade is pretty nice by Asmus Toys!

I haven't heard back from them yet. I think this might be the result of the post office trying to machine sort the envelopes. If it appears to be just a flat envelop, it goes through that tight sorting machine and I think the peg ends up getting pushed out of the package. I was in line at the post office one day when the clerk was explaining to a customer that it would cost $3 instead of the standard first class postage to send an envelop because there was a bump in it. It couldn't go through the standard machining.

Yeah definitely. Unfortunately, I have had this problem a few times before and this is my second time I've had an issue with this with an Asmus item. The first time with them it was the Nazgul Sword.

How do I know? I'm not up to date with this topic..I just checked the last pages and mine came with a (too small) neck peg.

There was a first wave and then I heard there was a 2nd wave coming. Wasn't sure if yours is of that new wave or still the original.

The inclusion of the neck peg may indicate v2... as I believe there was a problem with neck pegs missing from the first batch, or at least some of them.

Yours looks really good, that's why I asked. Its either the sculpt or your camera.

On the ACI body. The guy is just massive on torso and arms, I need to find a leaner body.

Straight out of the box, nice paint job but a pretty nasty gap at the hairline. At first I though mine was defective, but I see on this thread they all have the gap. Hopefully washing out the hair gel there at the front will help.
