Aaaaaand here we are.

They said they had entered the final production stage and that the delivery would be delayed further due to national problems.
I don't know how long we'll have to wait, but I hope we can get it at least within this year.

Honestly, with all the logistics problem that has happened and a bunch of delayed Hot Toys items seem to be coming in every 2 weeks for the US, I'm happy for extended delays on some items. Gives me some room to breathe. I know others may not want it that way though.

I received an email with the need for payment and the arrival of the figurine next week at the warehouse of Asmus Toys. I pre-ordered the Luxury edition.

I pre-ordered the upgrade pack, but I haven't heard from Asmus yet.
I never thought the upgrade pack would take longer WHY lol

Asmus is teasing the upcoming release of Dante, it looks very good, I definitely like it. The hair began to look more voluminous than the prototype, which was simply dyed gray. I also noticed that some curls of hair are slightly different from the prototype.

I love that the hair comes down over his eyes more than the first version.

This looks way better then the first one. The sculpt looks more accurate.

I was a bit confused as to why we were getting another shake at this figure, but from seeing the new promo pics I am sold. He looks much better.

I'm glad we got this new one. I didn't get the first one cause both sculpts were not so good. This one comes with his full arsenal and better sculpts that are two separate rather then interchangeable.

Finally got my figure.

I was able to receive this upgrade package a month after the main product was released,
and I was angry at the incomprehensible wait for that long time, but I'm quite satisfied.

The head sculpt is much better than the previous version,
And I was satisfied with the two heads, not the face change whatever function I was worried about.
(However, it's a bit disappointing that Dante's skin tone is redder than the previous version.)

Additional weapons were of good quality, but the problem is that they were made smaller than the original.
Shotgun is a little smaller than 'DMC5 Nero's Blue Rose', but the handle is still smaller than dante's palm.

Excluding these problems, this Dante v2 is a fairly successful work.
However, I still can't erase the personal opinion that it should have come out like this from the beginning.


Ps. And Cerberus came in underpainted with the chain, and I put an inquiry into Asmus.
I hope you check it out well, too.

I just got a invoice to pay the remaining balance for the Upgrade package....
And also got the Asmus Black Friday discount on my email the same day..

So I ended up paying regular price by pre-ordering while I can just wait for the release and buy at the discount price.
I feel kinda stupid... Thanks Asmus... No more pre-ordering your stuff...

I got my upgrade package yesterday. Looking online, a YouTuber by the name of Elbear's Toy Box found out that the 2.0 DMC 3 Dante is just a little over 11 inches tall. Being shorter than the V1

Pulled apart the head just like I had to with the original one, ironically the v1.0 I purchased last year had it's head fused together, apparently this was a known issue by many collectors despite the molds having magnet holes... it took quite a bit of prying for the v1. But the V2 was easier to pull apart, even the front bang seam popped off easy...

And I will say that the new Dante head sculpts has one ear.

I like the smirk of V1 so I put that into the new hair sculpt.
