The paintwork seems much improved from the first pics. I'm really glad I have her on order, now. I do sort of wish the hair had a bit more variation in color to it. But, I'll probably have her with her helmet on most of the time.

I believe that Tolkien once said that out of all the character's in Lord of the Rings, Faramir was the closest to him in mindset/character. This is from memory so I could be off.

I too love the sculpt and she is a rarity in other collections. However I cannot afford to buy everything so I too am hoping for a great Galadriel.

The sculpt is great. Hope they will improve their painting skills too. Sometimes the likeness is gone because of some weird paint.

I agree. Whatever other QC issues we've seen with this line, I've been consistently impressed by the paint work on the heads. So far, they've done a really nice job with that, in my opinion.

So far I've been very satisfied with Asmus' paintjob. Guritz, Gothmog, Gandalf all had great paintjobs.
Eowyn doesn't even wear make-up on the battle scenes.

I don't know - looks pretty wavy to me:

I wish they would just do sculpted hair, never been a fan of the Barbie style, but the sculpt looks really good.
