This. Eowyn is pretty much without makeup in battle scenes.

ps : the only detail that I think is still needed are the eyes , to make her look more afraid or innocent ( less make-up)

Although I want Merry to be in the fellowship gear too. I wonder if they could do a "DX" pack for Merry and have him come with both outfits. Same goes for Pippin.

Likeness is pretty decent. The hair works when you've got it tucked into the outfit with the helmet on but otherwise it just looks like doll hair. That looks to be the biggest issue for me as a fan just looking it over.

Looks great and is a must buy for me. With the correct hair color and less make-up around the eyes it would be near perfect.

I'm not buying, but this is impressive. Agreed on the hair colouring and eye make-up - in the pics she looks like she's packing too much foundation and mascara. I doubt this'd be too apparent in-hand though?

I think it looks great but ouch. If I get it whoever puts it up cheapest is getting my business. I missed the outstanding deal that Urban Samurai had on the ring wraith/steed set waiting to see if my usual dealer would eventually lower their price. It won't happen again.

It is a $20 price creep on bbts' website for her compared to Gandalf but I would think this figure took a lot more research and design plus there appear to be more accessories and a more detailed and involved costume. Hopefully Aragorn falls closer to Gandalf's price but I could also see him sitting around Eowyn's. I just hope it is a good and sturdy body they are using for her or that it is easy to switch her to a different one. Until we see some more stores put her up for pre-order it is hard to tell if $189 is the right price.

Also looking at the bbts page for Asmus it looks like they might be working towards a release per quarter. Right now it shows the Ringwraith as 3Q and Eowyn as 4Q. Gandalf appears to be in the process of arriving so he would be 3Q and so would Gurtiz but maybe he was supposed to be 2Q. If Aragorn is 1Q for 2015 I will be happy. 1 figure a quarter is something I should hopefully be able to afford without having to give up all other lines.

Just pre-ordered. I expect these will eventually hit HT pricing. That will be fine as long as Asmus matches or exceeds HT quality (which should also mean improving bodies). This is a "most wanted" line. The main thing for me is that they need to start showing some more of the heavy hitters like Aragorn and no more orcs for the time being. I know MoS in in the works. I want to characters like Gimli, Legolas and Arwen announced or shown as WIPs. Would be nice if the Hobbits came in two-pack or four-pack options.

Preordered as well. Surprised to see this at $189.99 actually. I had guessed it would be more in the $159-$169 range since she should be on the smaller side. But I guess things like the rooted hair and two shields and wearable helmet have pushed the price into Gandalf territory.

The hair looks a tad too blonde to me, not that it matters since most would display her with the helmet on.... I was wanting to collect this line but life changes are forcing me to cut rather than collect, which is to bad because this would look AMAZING with the Witch King.

She's only $159.95 at Animarket. However, Animarket requires a deposit and the shipping charges from Animarket (at least to the US) bring the cost up to around the base price at BBTS (shipping with a Pile of Loot would probably keep the price difference to less than $10 shipped). You'll probably get her faster on release though.
