Yeah, I remember a dude that got angry all the time & little blonde kid that cried a lot too...

Yup one of the reasons i dont like her character. She's very bland and boring and sort of creepy. her character has been done to death. Quiet soft spoken girl who is stronger then everyone else for no reason at all because..... well i guess she's driven by her devotion to Eren but still. I dont get the appeal to her character she reminds me to much of REI from Evangalion. I never did like overpowered characters that are just blessed with strength and own on every battle, one of the reasons I dont like dbz and fairty tail but thats just me.

Pretty much. In terms of merchandise she also shares the same attribute that others like Rei and Asuna, have in that there's ton of merch for them. Though, at least in AOT's case, others like Eren and Levi have a good amount of figs.

It's easy to see why people latch on to her, because she's the "badass" same as Levi. They don't have much depth to them but "oh they're so cool ooo aaaah" Mikasa DID become more interesting after we learned her little back story though. I'm sure Manga readers know more about Levi, so maybe there's more to him. Having only watched the anime, I'm judging him solely based on that.

I don't really know any anime female characters who match Mikasa's "type" in anime I've watched. Maybe you peeps with a more extensive library of seen animes might be bored with her type of character, but it's kinda fresh for me I guess.

Anime that I've watched like claymore, evangalion and others I can't remember the personality of mikasa has been done already plenty of times. Eren is more fresh to me along with other characters. But mikasa has been done to death in most anime but the quiet character always gets a lot of merch.

In the manga Levi is more fleshed out but in the manga mikasa barely says anything except when it's directed at eren. There was a mild revelation that had to deal with her but it wasn't all that huge.

most likely Mikasa is another Rei, just that the story hasn't revealed anything. This explains why she is so good at everything despite not being trained from small, her half asian blood can only do so much.

this also explains the reason the Doctor & Irvin went to visit them when the bandits hit. from the looks, everyone seems healthy, so the only reason the doctor was visiting was to check on something, most likely Mikasa.

Idk man. I guess it's because Mikasa's a girl and they get way more merch. But as much as I like the anime, I don't think I can ever pay so much money on the Medis. Maybe the Figmas with me being a titan myself. Ahahahaha.

Dont really view annie as overpowered. She tried running from the humans a few times and got taken down by levi and then eren. Mikasa even slowed her down with her usual overpowered antics.

Same here, I po'd Figma Mikasa, I like her and I don't care that much for theo thers but I'd like to have the blood face Armin.

I'm pretty sure I'll only get the figma figures, maybe medicom too
