These both look great (not HT but surprisingly nice for a new company).

hopefully they have less overhead and can come in a bit lower than HT and will be up for preorder soon at the usual spots.

I think it's weaker, and they had more features to work with.

I hope they're a company that takes feedback on board.

I’m happy about these. Too many companies official and third party completely dropped the ball on this incredibly figure worthy property. While I wish it wasn’t a first time company getting the license from what I see there js enough to work with

the outfits look good, I feel Paul’s overcoat looks a little cheap and the material seems a bit too windbreakerish to me but more than serviceable

the gurney is a strange choice for a second figure. Oscar’s character even Duncan Idaho would have been more logical at least for part 1.

the Brolin portrait shows promise but looks a bit off to me,

the Chalamet head is totally unserviceable if you ask me. They need to completely redo it from the ground up. Looks nothing like him.

I was just taking out my salt and pepper shakers and getting ready to eat some crow over my pessimism about this company after the Paul reveal…but…nope…this has got to be one of the poorest likenesses that I’ve ever seen on a 1/6 scale figure.
That amazing armor wasted on this headsculpt.
I can’t find a single similarity between the figure and Brolin.

Everything is pretty spot on besides his eye shape. They're not quite Brolin so it throws the likeness off a bit. Hot Toys got his squinted brooding eyes right, which helps their likeness.

Happy to see them already teasing more characters though. I'm gonna skip on Brolin but would pick up Oscars character if they did him.

How we view the accuracy of head sculpts seems to be quite subjective. It’s interesting to read about our natural facial recognition and how our brains identify familiar features.
Apparently we don’t view faces as a whole but as a collection of features so I imagine the degree to which someone finds a sculpts inaccurate depends on how many of the collective features they need to be perfectly recaptured in order for their brain to be satisfied that it is the person it’s meant to represent.

I’m personally blown away by the Chalamet sculpt and find it to be one of the most realistic and well captured likenesses I’ve seen for a long time.
I’m not overly familiar with his face but all of the key identifying features have been reproduced individually and as a collective in relation to one another to a degree that leaves me thinking ‘that’s basically perfect.’

I only just saw the movie and wasn’t especially captivated; intrigued, yes, but not fully onboard yet. It’s probably gonna take me another viewing to get to grips with everything they’re laying out but, as it’s currently presented, that Paul figure deserves to be bought.
Brolin sculpt, on the other hand, is very off in multiple areas- and the fact that other people hold the opposite view is utterly fascinating to me.

I struggled to get through the film. Dune has never been a favourite, but the original movie was colourful and wacky - and intriguing with the idea of folding space assisted by spice. By contrast the remake was so drained of colour, and the telling as dry as the desert itself.

One day I might force myself to watch it again, and try to pay more attention to the details. But at the moment I've given myself a mountain to watch before then: Hell on Wheels, Justified, Yellowstone, and a re-watch of Longmire. Maybe somewhere in the middle of that lot I'll take another look at Dune. :lol

I’m with you. Blown away by the Paul figure. I find the Brolin figure to be so terribly off base that it’s making me actually rethink the Paul figure and wonder if I missed something there because Brolin looks so bad to me that I can’t believe that they actually came from the same company…almost wondering if Paul isn’t as good as I thought…

I’m liking the look of these a lot! While I was initially hoping for Paul in a Stillsuit, I’m kinda getting tempted by the idea of him in the regal costume flanked by Leto and Gurney.
I hope pre-order prices and outlets get revealed soon. Need to start planning this new source of “wallet-drain” 🤪

ToysWonderland has it up as well. I've got to say, ~250$ is quite a bit considering the lack of accessories. Patrick Bateman went for ~300$, but had far more extras and two HS. I'm bringing it up because that's also a figure from a new company. I'll still probably get this Paul (waiting for BBTS or DarkSide to put him up first), but I doubt I'll have the cash for anything else (NWH, MoM, MK, and so on), beyond maybe a Stillsuit version and/or Leto. If these turn out good, then P2 could give us more options as well.
