That shield is not only BIG, but it's heavy too! Can't wait to get the Elven sword to complete the helm-shield-sword set.

Thanks guys for the compliments on my displayed collection.

Yes, there is no protection in front of the display unit and I do have to clean the dust off about once a month :bang
but I do like the looks of it and its very easy to re-arrange the polystone.

The elven shield is a great piece and the quality is superb, and I have to agree its very heavy. I would hate to have to lug that thing around during a battle.

Well, there are only 2 people in my area in Indiana that collect that I know of & I am related to them.

Elros - back in the days when I posted a lot on Tolkien Online, I think it was Hama who started calling the Balrog from the film Henry. It just stuck with me, and now I always refer to any Balrog as Henry. Sometimes I think of Baby Balrog as Henrietta, Henry's wife - since in the animal kingdom the males are sometimes much larger than their mates.
