But it appears to me RDJ is having much fun with the Stark character, so I think good chance he will sign on for 5 more

RDJ and TS are just about as perfect a fit as you can get. I will not jump up and down and scream and holler if RDJ ends his tenure as Stark...but I'll be a-hopin' he doesn't do it in my lifetime.


And one good thing about waiting on the next Avengers/Cap/IM/Thor/Hilk film...I have Avengers to watch over and over to fill in the time and I like the movie enough to do so.

I have The Art of Avengers book in it, Feige is quoted saying much like the comic the Avengers roster could change. Directly mentioning new characters could join or replace IM, Thor, Cap etc..

My guess is a self functioning team in A2 introducing new characters limiting SHIELD characters (Fury, Widow, Hawkeye). A3 SHIELD characters obsolete along with IM and Hulk (both older actors).

He also addresses other projects for hero based films including cosmic, martial and magical arts characters. Thy cup runith over anyone......

Odd to see them signing up Hiddleson for more films. I guess I've gotten so used to movie super villians getting killed off at the end that it is strange to have one coming back so many times. Thankfully he's a good one. But I hope every Thor movie isn't another Loki ploy. That would get old fast.

I think they really need to get Hugo Weaving signed up ASAP though. Avengers confirmed the Cube was a portal, so the Red Skull shouldn't be at all dead. If anything, he should have been hanging out with Thanos the last 70 years. So I hope we see him pop up in a future Avengers or Cap film. It would be a great way to bring Hydra back into the modern time as well.

It will be interesting how they go with Thanos. The Infinity Gauntlet was still in Odin's armory so Thor 2 could possibly set that up a bit more. I just hope he's not hiding in the shadows again for a big reveal in Avengers 3. They built up to the Manderian so long for Iron Man 3 and he might not even happen anymore since JF left the series. So I really want them to take care of Thanos sooner rather than later so he isn't just thrown away as the end credit teaser.

Agreed. I think it would be easier to recast the Joker right now than Tony Stark. RDJ just plays himself really. The 3 times I've seen him at SDCC he's basically been Tony Stark

Yeah, I think his diva attitude has ruined any chances of him ever setting foot in the Marvel universe ever again.

This is my take....now that Marvel is with Disney, RDJ can ask for whatever he wants and it will be paid.
