That video reminds me of how we sat through the million names of credits after AoU, only to find out there was no extra footage at the end. That seriously p'd me off.

:lol

That would be excellent. I don't think the big purple guy in gold armor really is the best screen villain the MCU has to offer. This universe needs someone with the gravitas of Darth Vader (the original one -- not Hayden lite).

I'm really quite shocked that for all the MCU movies, the only truly memorable villain isn't a villain at all but a trickster: Loki.

80's Thanos:

No I do get your point. I like Ultron and Red Skull and especially Winter Soldier but you'd think that with all the massive global success of the MCU that there'd at least be a Ledger Joker that would have emerged by now and clearly no villain has really struck that chord yet.

I don't see it being Thanos so it could still could be quite the wait.

I think for a villain to truly strike a chord you just need to be a bit uncomfortable with how far they'll go, even in a "family" movie. Vader killed Obi-Wan and cut off Luke's hand. Gruber blew away Takagi (likable father of five) and Ellis. The Wicked Witch of the West, Norman Bates, Nicholson and Ledger Joker, Hannibal Lecter, Clarence Boddiker, even Gaston, every single one of them were kind of likable in their own ways but also frightening in how far they might go and ultimately unpredictable they were. And so far the MCU has kind of been all about predictability and "not going too far."

Which is why I think that Wilson Fisk might be their best villain to date. He's the one guy that if he was real I'd truly be nervous just being in the same room with him. Ultron? Just don't compare him to Stark and you're good. :lol
