I'm intrigued by 30 minutes of cut material, unless most DVDs leave out a lot from deleted scenes, they usually don't amount to that much, but that sounds like a lot, and it would be interesting to see what they do the film.

I know the movie works as is, but I'd have liked to see Banner's visions from Witch that set him off.

I know it's a Joss Whedon directed film, but couldn't Disney release an extended version anyway? It is ultimately their movie.

Ink on the final cut contract has long been dry.

Unless he does it for more money but that won't happen since he's running as fast as he can away from Marvel.

From Golden Boy franchise overseer to **** Marvel in 3 short years. :lol

Christmas Poo cheers up any thread.

Honestly flowing from you guys- I do believe AoU was a misfire and one mess and one of the weakest MCU films I've seen. Too many big expectations but Joss seems just tired of it when making this.

That's exactly right. I think the hype outweighed the movie itself. If I hadn't seen so many Doritos bags with Iron Man's mug on them, things probably would have went a little better for them. :lol I felt like the AOU started months before the movie itself. I was practically bros with the characters, I felt.

I kind of like these movies now where hype is built about one month out. I get it's a business, so that won't fly, but still. I can only eat so many Doritos before saying enough is enough. At one point, I think RDJ was feeding them to me.

Horrible explanation, I know. But I'm willing to be jye will get this.

My sentiments remain the same. This was a good movie for a Marvel movie, IMO. But judging by pre-movie hype, this was supposed to be the movie to end all movies.

I just want to frame and hang AOU on my wall, there were some beautiful group shots in that movie.

Story wise, yeah could've been better, Ultron could've been fleshed out more.

It is disappointing that JW is purposely walking away leaving Marvel with a somewhat broken movie (not Alien 3 broken mind you) because of his bad experience.

I believe an extended cut would've solved many of the issues genre fans are having with it which was a weak Ultron, confusing hero arcs and a getting one meaningful set piece.
