I don't see how he could show up.... none of the Avengers know about him... unless the visions are linked to the scepter somehow, which seems likely since Scarlet Witch and QS got their powers from it

If true I guess it's a suitable replacement if they can't be mutants, which is sad really. I would hope they would keep the origins of their powers left open just in case Marvel ever makes a deal to get mutants back on the table.

Naw, Ultron is powerful enough to break Caps shield. They showed this footage at comic con and it was Ultron standing over the pile of "dead" Avengers.
