Avengers: Age of Ultron

Question for everyone who owned the avengers set from the first film, is it worth spending all this money to have them together?

I'm more of an iron man collector and only have iron man and hulk from the first film, hulkbuster has been preordered and considering his price and the general price of hot toys these days I don't even want to work out how much all the ultron figures will cost in total

I will defiantly get my 45, and think the outfits for cap Thor and Hawkeye are the best so far but will you guys just buy your favourite characters or do you have to buy them all?

Definitely. I'm working on creating my favorite Avengers team which is basically Brian Michael Bendis' New Avengers roster and even the current Hickman roster and we're basically getting everyone! Tony, Steve, Clint, Hawkeye, Nat, Hulk, Carol <3, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Scott Lang HOPEFULLY Jessica Drew, Stephen, T'Challa....I seriously hope to ****ing god that they make Daredevil, Jessica, Luke, and Danny. I would also kill for Bobbi and Quake. And i'm planning on making a separate shelf for the GOTG and i'll put the Inhumans on the shelf below the Avengers.

I buy my favorite characters but only buy multiple versions of a character if I like the costumes enough (Cap and Tony) For me, I think the WS costume for Natasha is the PERFECT Black Widow costume, and I made some mods to it to make it look even more like her comic book costume. All I need now is a headsculpt that has her signature long hair with bangs. WS was close.

I'm an IM collector mainly as well and just want one complete Avengers team. I have the complete first Avenger team and won't be replacing any of them with the newer AOU figures. Financially, it's brutal and fortunately I like the first Avenger figures and outfits more than the AOU ones so that helps. I'll probably just end up getting the Mk 43, 45, Hulkbuster and one Ultron and move on from AOU.

If you're just getting into collecting now my advice would be to stick with AOU Avengers or wait until they start shipping and hope you can find deals from people unloading the original Avengers for new ones.

When I bought TWS Black Widow I was really concerned she would seem like an over priced barbie doll but it totally isn't. Obviously it is a lot different than an iron man but still great nonetheless!

I really don't see the 'barbie' in it... it still looks like a high end collectible figure....

just because its a female action figure and has rooted hair does not make it a barbie, by that logic all male hot toys would be ken dolls

actually it wasn't that I was worried about when I was getting mine... I thought the headsculpt looked terrible in most photos and then I got it and it looked perfect I was so relieved

I think they retail for about $8-$10 per baby... these though? I can see retailing for $12- $15 per baby, possibly more.
