For me this is AWESOME. IMO it was gosh-darn un-American this one *&&^%$ time to stop cultivating the "fer-in" market
when you have an American company, American directors, American actors, American studio - it's an American movie for *&&^% sake
with CAPTAIN AMERICA. It was absurd re the release e.g. without burying yourself or taking a trip to Antarctica it would have been brutal trying to avoid spoilers.
Also, I have to think the movie is d@mn good because if it isn't testing well they'd farm it out to other countries first. It's the right decision for a lot of reasons including a global fan community. It was a WB mess re the Hobbit movies that had huge gaps in release dates for some events and other stuff that *some* people got to see, and others not. WB is frequently clueless re the fan community like fans don't talk to each other.
